Classes, Workshops & Events
Throughout the year I offer a variety of Botanical Watercolour Painting Classes and Workshops, ranging from one-off session, to longer courses. I also sell my work and homeware range at events, and it’s a lovely opportunity to meet people and have a chat about all things Botanical.
A calendar of events is below, but for regular updates, just follow me on Instagram @pennysandersonart email me at pennysanderson03@gmail.com or sign up to my newsletter.
Materials and beverages are included in all my classes, while some of the Workshops involve a rather special tea or lunch as a real treat!
Taster/Introduction
These two-hour sessions offer people the chance to try Botanical painting before committing to a regular course. During the class we’ll look at composition, drawing, watercolour technique and painting.

Regular course
This series of three-hour classes is a natural progression from the Taster session, but is also suitable for those who would like to join without having attended an introduction. Structured over several weeks, each session will focus on a different project, and include a more in-depth look at Botanical techniques.
Suitable for beginners or more experienced artists
Three hours, once a week
A gluten-free sweet treat is included
Prices dependent on length of course
Workshops
These seasonal pop-up events are a lovely way of having a go at watercolour, while focussing on a particular theme including Spring Blossoms, Roses, Harvest, Forest Floor, and Christmas Cards. The sessions are held at different venues mainly in East and West Sussex, but also further afield – follow me on Instagram @pennysandersonart for regular updates. All of the Workshops are at amazing venues and often include free entry to a garden, afternoon tea, lunch or wine tasting to make it a really special event!

Group events
I’m also available to teach groups on an independent/commercial basis, just contact me for details.
