Classes and Workshops

Throughout the year I offer a range of Botanical watercolour painting classes and workshops, ranging from one-off session, to longer courses. They’re all advertised via social media, so do follow me (@pennysandersonart) or just send me an email (pennysanderson03@gmail.com) for regular updates.

Taster/Introduction
These two-hours sessions offer people the chance to try Botanical painting, before committing to a regular course. During the class we will look at composition, drawing, watercolour technique and painting.

Regular course
This series of three-hour classes is a natural progression from the Taster session, but is also suitable for people who would like to join without having attended an introduction. Structured over six weeks, each session will focus on a different project every week, and include a variety of skills as well as a more in-depth look at Botanical techniques.

Workshops

These seasonal pop-up events are a lovely way of having a go at watercolour, while focussing on a particular theme such as Spring Flowers, Roses, Forest Floor, and Christmas Cards. The sessions are held at different venues in East and West Sussex throughout the year and some are combined with afternoon tea, to make it a really special treat!
